My sister Sherry (saheber.blogspot.com) came home from a trip to San Diego with paper purse patterns that we immediately pounced on and proceeded to spend our life savings on paper and frills to produce these cute clutch bags.
This was my first purse that ended up as a birthday card. In the background you can see a purse created by my sister Sherry. I keep finding and designing new shapes and sizes for these purses. They are so much fun and very popular as gift cards for birthdays and other occasions.
Sometimes I like to embellish the insides as well. These are perfect holders for gift cards. Slits can be cut in the middle section to hold the card.
I love to use vintage and new buttons for embellishing. Thanks to my friends Lori and Candy, I have a huge supply to choose from. Thanks girls!
I designed this tote after a gift bag I saw in a shi-shi gift shop.
