I have been sooooo busy card making, I haven't had time to add anything new to this page. Have actually been making a lot of the Iris Fold Ornament cards and this one, a variation of a card I saw on Pinterest. The tree is created from 3 isosceles triangles, which are folded down the middle with the pattern side in, then glued together. The embossing is from a Sizzix embossing folder. I used self-sticking pearls to cover two embossed dots... note that they are not evenly spaced from the center... design flaw I guess, but doesn't bother me too much.
This one on white paper uses the free download that was provided for the tree patterns. I love the way the tree fit into the embossing frame.
The holiday toy and sweet shoppes are now open!
Tissue paper from Costco and ribbon give the Iris Fold a different look! The greeting on the embossed covers are on the inside of the card. Lost one card to the heat embossing tool... melted the shiny tissue. Next time I'll do the embossing first!
See the description for these on the Pocket Cards page. They are so much fun to fill for the holidays! More holiday cards will be coming... I'm just getting started!
Christmas pop-ups are so much fun and I love the whimsical charm of these embellishments from Kand Company.
I call this card the "Fun Fold." It can be tied up with a pretty bow and you open it in 3 steps... the top flap first then a flap on either side. There is a little embellishment on each flap and on the inside.
These disposable wine glass name cards are perfect for a holiday party. Write the guests names on them and it will be easy to keep track of whose is whose! They sit so neatly on the base of the wine glass. I cut them out using the LifeStyle Crafts scalloped circles. Add a little bling and they are ready to go.
I made these little purses into gift card holders by cutting the slits in the middle portion of the inside.
